Overview
We are seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a
passion for audiovisual technology and a strong technical background to support our church's
needs.

SUMMARY:   Audio/Visual Technician coordinates and provides high quality sound projection
and video of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church (MLC) in-person worship as well as online
streaming for those unable to attend services in-person. The values of this person in this position
must align with MLC’s mission statement: Guided by the Gospel, we welcome all to worship,
make disciples, hunger for ministry, nurture youth, gather resources for growing ministries, and
offer healing and care to all in need.
At lease two-years experience with audio-visual system including on-line streaming. Degree in
Mass Media, Audio Production, or Electronic Arts. Strong leadership skills with the ability to
delegate. Ability to establish good rapport and communication with MLC volunteers,
congregational members, and other staff. Available to work weekends.

STATUS: Hourly, non-exempt; part-time (approximately 15-20 hours/week with more hours
possible during holiday seasons)

STARTING PAY RANGE: Negotiable
